I am 30 years old. Live in Tbilisi. I am mostly interested in mountaineering and trekking and Georgia is the perfect place for these outdoor activities.
Professional description
I started climbing in 2007 and trekking much earlier. First worked as a mountain guide in 2010.I can offer my service as a mountain guide to climb mount Kazbeg (5033 meters, difficulty level 2B) and several summits in Chaukhi mountain group difficulty level of which varies from the easiest to the most difficult.
Day 1
Early morning departure from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda. Visiting Gergeti Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti. The Church is situated at 2170 meters under Mt. Kazbeg. Crossing the Sabertse Pass (3150 m) and continue walking to former meteorological station (3675m). Sleeping in a tent near meteo station.
Day 2
The second day is mostly for acclimatization. We climb to Betlemi Church overlooking meteo station at 3900 meters. Going back to meteo station and overnight.
Day 3
At 3.00 a.m. we begin the ascent to Mt. Kazbeg (5033m). It requires 10-12 hours on average. Return to the meteo station in the evening.
Day 4
Walking down to Stepantsminda and driving to Tbilisi.
In case of bad weather we stay one more day for the second attempt to climb Mt. Kazbeg.
