Professional description
I am working as a Tour Expert for over 3 years.
I have a somewhat unique perspective of this wonderful city which has in fact many names "City of Joy", "Charnock City", "Cultural capital of India" and so on. My aim is to explore the rich culture and traditions of Bengal.
I always focus on making the tour a comfortable and a memorable one for my guests so that they take back an experience of a life time.
Our first visit will be the Mother Teresa's House: Her tomb and Nirmal Hriday(the place of the pure heart): Mother Teresa born to Albanian parents, mother came to Kolkata in 1931 as a teacher of geography, on seeing the sufferings of the destitute and homeless on the streets of Kolkata, she started the "Missionaries of Charity" in 1950. Then we move to visit the famous Howrah Bridge: It is India's biggest, world's busiest, and longest single span and the third longest cantilever bridge in the world.
Next visit will be Kali Ghat OR the Marble palace: A surprise awaits here, this will be the most interesting part of the tour. From here we proceed to St. John's Church which is the first public building built by the East India Company. Next will be The New market: it is one of the oldest markets of the city, here you get to see how the local shop and may be you could do some shopping also. Finally we end the tour at Victoria Memorial, her majesty. The name itself suggests that it was built in the Queen's memory.
