Namaste! ( the meaning of namaste in our country is that we respect you, we honour you), My name is Monika and I was born and brought up in Agra, I am working as a tour guide since 2010 and love to visit historical places in Agra and neighbour cities like Bateshwar, Mathura (Lord Krishna's birth place and hundred of temples), Vrindavan, Gokul, Bareheaded etc. My schooling and graduation is from Agra University, and completed my Masters in medieval history my interests are to read historical books, explore historical places and photography.

I work as a freelance tourist guide and have been frequently hired as the local guide by various companies. I have traveled to other parts of India including North India (Amarnath), east India (Jaganathpuri), south India Kerla and Tamilnadu (kanyakumari), west India Jaipur and recently Kumbh fare (the biggest spiritual fare of the world which happens after every 12ve years in India).

Agra city is situated on the right bank of river Yamuna has been the capital of mughal empire for hundreds of years and we can have a look at the remains of that periods which are testimony to the grand historical background of history this is the city in India which has 3 world heritage cites like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.

Anyone who is planning to visit India, can appoint me as guide or tour leader and can make the most of the tour with sufficient information on art, culture, history and traditions along with the sightseeing of the places of tourist's interest.
