Description
The best way to see Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. With a history of over 500 years, it offers a unique variety of architecture, culture and sights for its guests. From the moment when it was founded by Bucur the shepherd until 1989, when Ceausescu held his famous last speech, Bucharest still holds pieces of history from every century.

Starting time: 9 am

Itinerary: Village Museum, Patriarchal Church, Village Museum, Old princely Court, Revolution Square, Palace of Parliament.

Free time for lunch included, or I can arrange a great meal at Caru cu Bere (The Beer Wagon), a 300 year old beer house in the heart of city. It is by far the best restaurant in town.

Tour Highlights:
Palace of Parliament: known as the House of the People (in communist times). It is the second largest building in the world.

Village Museum: showing traditional Romanian households from centuries ago, it is the second largest outdoor museum of Europe. Each individual house comes from a different area of Romania.

Patriarchal Church: as the main church of the country, one can say it is the equivalent of the Vatican for the Catholic Church. The 400 year old church shows a great frescoes of the Judgment Day on its front wall.

The Old Princely Court - established by prince Vlad the Impaler (world known as Dracula) and, close to it, the old commercial area, named Lipscani.

In the center stop to hear about Revolution Square, the place from where Ceausescu held his famous last speech.

Personal description
My name is Andrei Brebulet, and I have decided to open my own travel company because, in my years of experience as a tour guide, I have realized that many of my guests, coming from big groups (such as cruise ships or bus tours), always were searching for an easier, but more exclusive way to visit my great country. My travels through Romania have taken me to some unique places, offering some of the last places in Europe where one can admire natural beauty, time old traditions, while benefiting also from 4 star hotels and restaurants.
Professional description
I have vast experience in tours of Romania, in all regions of the country. During these years, I have assisted the Chinese prime minister and the American Secretary of Defense during their visits, acting as their personal interpreters. I have also assisted a film crew from the Croatian National Television in making a documentary of two regions of Romania (Moldavia and Bucovina). To this, some of my former guests have also recommended me to other travelers, and you can also find reviews about me and my services on Tripadvisor as well. You can also find great pictures of my country if you follow me on Facebook. Recently, in between my tours, I also write on a blog about Bucharest.

Looking forward to hearing from you and to spend a great vacation in this wonderful country named Romania.
