Description
Enjoy cruising on the Nile River on board a deluxe cruise during a 6-day excursion from Cairo. Travel to Luxor by train and enjoy a 5-day/4-night cruise to Aswan, with various stops and sightseeing, along with full board and evening entertainment.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo - Luxor (Meals: D)
You will be picked from your hotel in Cairo at 20:00 and then transferred to the train station to take the overnight train to Luxor. Overnight in the train.
Day 2: Luxor (Meals: B, L, D)
Upon arriving in Luxor, transfer to the boat where you will board your Nile cruise. Enjoy lunch on board before heading out to visit the temples of Karnak and Luxor on the East Bank. Return to the cruise in the evening for a dinner accompanied by a belly dance show.
Day 3: Luxor - Edfu (Meals: B, L, D)
In the morning, visit the West Bank, stopping to see the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Continue on to the Necropolis of Thebes. Returning to the boat, you will have lunch on board as you set sail. Enjoy afternoon tea and a disco party later in the evening, and spend the night on the boat in Edfu.
Day 4: Edfu - Kom Ombo (Meals: B, L, D)
Head out to see the Temple of Horus in Edfu, and then set sail for Kom Ombo, enjoying lunch on the way. Upon arriving, visit the Temple of the ancient Egyptian god Hours, before returning to the boat for afternoon tea. Enjoy dinner accompanied by a Galabeya party.
Day 5: Kom Ombo - Aswan (Meals: B, L, D)
Arriving in Aswan, visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries, and the Temple of Philae. Board the boat for lunch, then set sail on a felucca that takes you around Kitchener's Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board, and your last night on the boat.
Day 6: Aswan - Cairo (Meals: B)
After breakfast on board, disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo.
