Description
The includes a city tour by foot, 4 hours: the city centre, i.e. Aker Brygge, Oslo of the 19th century: the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the main streets etc. You will also visit a medieval Fortress 'Akershus' and 'Kvadratura' (city centre of the 17th century). We can visit one or two museums of your choice: the National Gallery (to see E Munch paintings and French impressionists there), Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art (private museum) or one of the museums in Bygdøy peninsula i.e..Vikings Skip Museum /Kon-Tiki / Fram or the Museum of Wooden Architecture (Gol stave church from the 13th century) etc.
I can include the new Opera House and the Vigeland Sculptural Park (it will take us 10 min by tram to get there).
We will use public transport in Oslo (excellent) or I can book a private taxi/minivan (additional payment).
