Spend a day out and about in Cairo, seeing important historical sites from the past and present.
After an 8:00 pick-up time, you will be transferred to the Giza Necropolis, where the pyramids and Great Sphinx are located. Enjoy a guided tour at the 3 famous and well-preserved pyramids of the Egyptian kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus.
Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. On the way back to Cairo you will stop at one of the nice local restaurants for lunch, where you will have the opportunity to try authentic Egyptian food.
After lunch, stop at Tahrir Square to see the place that was witness to the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. You may wander around, take photos, or even stop and chat with locals.
Next, you will move on to tour the Egyptian Museum, which displays a rare collection of art, considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world.
