Tour itinerary
Spend a full day exploring the modern city of Luxor, known in ancient times as Thebes.

Begin your day by traveling along the West Bank of the Nile to the Valley of the Kings, the site where the ancient Pharaohs were buried, and stop off at the tombs of 3 of the former rulers. Next, make your way to Deir el-Bahari to see the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Take advantage of the photo opportunities at the Colossi of Memnon before a stop for lunch.

In the afternoon, head to the East Bank for a visit to the Karnak Temple Complex, which is the largest ancient religious site in the world. This trip will be rounded out by a visit to the neighboring Luxor Temple, before you are taken to your drop off spot.
